daddy's bday lunch.. on xmas..

went to the chinese restaurant at paramount hotel today for lunch with my family and my maternal grandparents to celebrate my dad's bday early.. lucky my mum had made a reservation cos there was like a super long queue outside the restaurant.. and we managed to get a private room too.. but the service was relli relli slow.. so slow.. that by the time the tim sum finished being served.. the food had oredi digested and we were all full.. and hence didnt relli enjoy the main dishes.. anyway... shall not complain too much cos the food was good lah..

the tim sum that we ordered as we tot it would come quite fast and hence serve as an appetizer.. but little did we know..



i didnt take pics of all the dishes.. cos i tot it was quite rude since my grandparents are there and they might not accept the idea of a pic being taken of their food.. but then again im sure they wouldnt have mind.. their cute granddaughter.. haha :) i still took some though.. while they were not looking..



the peking duck.. i love peking duck.. esp the skin with the wrap and the sweet sauce.. yummy :)



the bean curd with vege and mushrooms.. i love mushrooms.. not the white big head ones.. golden mushrooms?? but those brown thinly sliced ones..

cos we were waiting so long for the food.. and i dun relli know how to speak hokkien.. and dun relli know how to comprehend spoken hokkien either.. so after my feeble attempts at speaking a few phrases.. i decided to shuddup and just take pics..









this the card holder i got for my dad for christmas.. he chided me for wasting money.. i think he gonna chide dear too.. cos dear bought a wallet from mont blanc for my dad for his bday..

anyway after lunch.. sent my mum and my grandparents to cold storage to shop for groceries.. and then sent my grandparents and then went home.. to get ready to meet dear for our first movie date :)
