juztheothergirl: asean football championship..

went with cl, at, sc, fa, rncj and hy to national stadium to watch the first leg of the asean football championship finals.. singapore vs thailand... veri interesting match.. went there late.. in a way.. cos at first the plan was to meet cl and fa at ORQ as cl was gonna pick us to go to the stadium at 630pm.. wanted to take his car cos i was planning to go back office for the practical issues forum at 4pm.. in the end.. by the time i settled the stuff at the shipping co, it was oredi 355pm.. so decided not to go for the forum..

then was supposed to meet them at kallang airport for dinner at 645pm.. but couldnt leave the shipping co until 7pm.. cos suddenly many pple seemed to be asking many questions.. by the time i reached the stadium it was almost 8pm.. which was the time the match was supposed to start.. then i went to the east entrance (i saw mj - ade's bf at the east entrance.. and bestest guy fren was also at the east side.. but i didnt get to see him cos he had reached there at 6 plus and was probably comfortably sitting inside oredi!!) even though my ticket was for the south entrance.. cos i thought i could walk via the stadium walkway.. in the end couldnt.. so had to make a big detour.. luckily managed to see rcnj and hy when i finally reached the south entrance..

we tried to call the guys inside.. but all no reception.. managed to get through in the end.. and finally got into the stadium before any goals were scored.. luckily i had left a pair of slippers (hmm.. actually i have 2 pairs of slippers) in sss.. so i had switched to slippers even though i was wearing a suit.. but comfort matters more lah.. tak glam also nvm.. anyway pics of the stadium.. it was quite full house..

singapore scored first in the first half.. and maintained its lead.. but then during the first few minutes of the second half... they let in a goal to thailand..

i was trying to take a pic of the section with the yellow thai supporters.. but it came out all blurry..

still 1-1.. until singapore got awarded a penalty.. funny thing was.. the thai players decided to walk off the pitch after singapore was awarded the penalty.. such sore losers.. not say singapore will confirm score with a penalty in hand..
