first day of work in 2007

woke up late again today... at 920am.... bad start to the year.. wondering how come it wasnt in my resolutions for 2007.. anyway.. reached work at 10am.. with lots of things to do.. shant tok abt work here anyway.. should never bring work out of the office.. then again... i brought my lap top home..

today bestest guy fren came by shipping co building to meet me for lunch.. before he went to work.. yes.. its not a typo error.. its LUNCH... BEFORE.. WORK...

anyway.. couldnt think of a place to have lunch.. then i gian for the avocado drink with chocolate syrup at the place i tot was the ABC mkt.. but apparently its not.. cos bestest guy fren drove to the ABC mkt.. and it looks totally different.. we made a detour and then went to the mkt i tot was the ABC mkt.. but its actually the alexandra food centre i think.. and we were in this car park which was quite far away from the food centre.. and saw a "car graveyard".. was that wat bestest guy fren called it??
look at that car.. and it was so nicely parked.. its like someone smashed it when it was in the lot.. hey.. just realised that it isnt a lot.. its on the grass patch.. anyway bestest guy fren was damn funny.. wondering whether the car would kenna summoned in that state.. hmm.. now as im typing it out its not that funny anymore.. but it was an interesting thought then..

we saw a lot of other cars like that too.. even an ambulance.. aside from the badly hit cars, we also saw this relli nice and not damaged BMW 645.. my dream is that my dad will drive it.. then i can take it out for a spin once in awhile.. but doubt it lah.. selfish car..

anyway.. finally settled for ABC market cos we couldnt find any nearby car park lots at alexandra food centre, which means we made a detour AGAIN.. had my avocado drink at ABC.. not as good as the one at alexandra food centre.. but still quite nice lah.. of cos i had lunch too lah.. on top of the drink.. had one egg prata with chicken curry.. and bestest guy fren had this chicken rice set (comprising of a plate of sliced chicken, a plate of greens and a plate of rice).. which cost only S$___.. hmm.. i cant remember how much now.. but i remember it being relli cheap..

after that went back to work.. and then cos 偶像 had gone to japan last month, there were chocs from japan.. which were quite nice.. ate this greenish chocolate.. think it was rock melon.. and it was like S$15 per pack.. all individually wrapped chocolates.. nice but relli ex chocs.. somehow had a deja vu feeling when eating it.. somehow i have this memory that in sec sch.. one of my classmates, Lynnette, also went japan and brought back this chocolate.. still wondering whether this relli happened.. bum.. do u remember??

dear had a relli busy day at work today.. called him but he too busy to tok to me except during his lunch break.. poor guy.. no wonder he can maintain his body so well.. his work is physically very tiring.. cos he has to walk very fast from the comp to the phone to the boss's office to the yard (issit called the yard?) and then go toilet.. go shk.. and back and forth and etc etc.. for a 12 hour shift relli very tiring leh..

not like me.. just sit there in front of the laptop using my fingers.. and the only time i move is to answer MY phone calls.. its not even to answer THE phone calls.. cos the person sitting next to the phone will only call me when its MY phone.. and then walking to the lift to go down to shk.. and go up again.. and going out for meals.. ya.. thats abt the only time i move.. once in awhile go find client.. wat a terribly unhealthy job.. then again.. got lah.. we exercise by carrying the 3 kg laptop bags almost everyday to and from home.. and carrying the bursting yellow paper bags and black audit bags.. ya.. we do have our fair share of calories burning..

anyway.. dear came by shipping co building on the way home to meet me for dinner at abt 9pm.. we ended up at ABC market again.. hehe.. im not a westie lah.. no idea where to go in the west at all.. had another round of avocado drink.. which was still nice :) im like that lah.. always eating or drinking the same thing if its nice.. but didnt have prata with chicken curry.. had bak chor mee without bak chor but with prawn instead.. not my decision.. apparently the hawker made his own decision..
