js's wedding dinner...

today was js and r's wedding dinner for frens.. a nice cosy dinner.. with abt 10 tables at oriental hotel.. was nice meeting the brothers again (though i seem to be meeting them quite often in the last half a year compared to the last 8 years).. anyway.... some things never change.. the "hovering" as xiaodi calls it :)

anyway.. got there late.. cos i was at the shipping co.. in the first place i got to shipping co late today.. set the time for the team to come in at 10am.. and i ended up sleeping all the way until 1pm.. and they didnt have lunch until i was abt to leave my house.. cos i think they thought i was gonna join them.. and one of them had sms-ed me to ask whether the team wanted him to buy lunch.. but i was sleeping so didnt respond.. so.. haiz.. guilty 100.. some more they were all so nice abt it.. guilty 200..

anyway.. away from digressing.. was at the wedding dinner.. and realised i was sitting at the vip seat.. was supposed to be sitting with some of the brothers i think.. but bum who is relli close to j was at the vip table.. so she requested ch (also one of the brothers) to change with me.. the vip table supposed to be served their meal.. but in the end.. only j waited to be served.. the rest of us helped ourselves to the buffet table.. including the bride.. the food was relli good.. the dessert too..

this was the fun part.. j was gonna be tekaned by the brothers AGAIN.. haha.. told u some things dun change about the brothers.. esp xiaodi :) he requested to say his thanks and goodbyes to his guests by going to each table.. after the first table.. one of the guys got fed up with waiting.. and just carried him up (see the blur pic below) and at the same time, xiaodi went up on stage to help j announce to the guests that he was leaving and heading for the pool.. to be tekan-ed :)


xiaodi and j.. haha.. dunno why j is smiling so much.. i think he probably expected it.. apparently the hotel management had been informed about this.. cos they were waiting by the pool with towels and hot tea.. for preparation for j after he got out of the pool..
